“Pooling Global Professionals for a Better Jiangxi” and Lushan International Symposium on Global Change and Biodiversity Conservation

一、Background
Global changes and unsustainable land management practices threaten regional and global biodiversity. To explore the impact of global changes on biodiversity, address the international challenge of biodiversity loss, and contribute to the construction and sustainable development of national ecological civilization, “Lushan International Symposium on Global Change and Biodiversity Conservation” will be held in Lushan City on September 25th-27th, 2024 on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Lushan Botanical Garden. Lushan Botanical Garden will host the conference, focusing on the topic of "Global Change and Biodiversity Conservation", and invite well-known experts at home and abroad to give oral talks, aiming to promote the development of global biodiversity conservation. We warmly welcome scholars in ecology, botany, and related fields to register for the conference. Welcome!

Due to the need to produce the conference handbook, the speakers who participated in the sessions must send the English report title and English abstract (within 600 words) to the convener by email before September 15th. To encourage young scholars to participate, the conference committee will award honorary certificates to outstanding young speakers。

（2）Fees and Payment：
Registration fee includes entry to scientific sessions, program flyer, conference Handbook, and coffee/tea breaks. Accommodation and round-trip transportation expenses are at the expense of participants Regular Registration before September 5th: 600 CNY for employee; 500 CNY for students; Regular Registration after September 5th: 800 CNY for employee; 700 CNY for students. Payment for this meeting is made by scanning the QR code (below) via WeChat, or by bank account transfer. The conference invoices will be issued by the Lushan Rest House of the National People's Congress Organ Service Center.

六、Regular oral and keynote presentations
Please arrive at your session room at least 30 min in advance of your session. Regular oral presentations are scheduled for a total of 15 min. You should plan to speak for 12 min and leave 3 min for questions. The total time allotted for a keynote presentation is 30 min (plus 5 minutes of discussion). Session conveners are asked to be very strict about respecting time limits.
